Do people always mean what they post? If not, machine learning algorithms will be impaired. People with high EQ know that people don't always mean what they say. The culture in Japan accepts that, while people truly believe one thing "honne," they often publicly say something expected of them "tatemae." We believe algorithms can predict this. In this Harvard Business Review article, we describe our work in the new field of behavioral AI.
