2019 Decision Analytics Forum
OnCorps is pleased to announce its 2019 Decision Analytics Forum events. The 2019 events will address topics focusing on machine learning and its influence on behaviors and decisions. Events for 2019 include:
- Algorithm Aversion or Appreciation: Are People More Influenced by People or Machines? Speaker: Dr. Julia Minson, Harvard University. Dr. Minson’s research findings will be presented at the New York Harvard Club on March 21, 2019.
- Managing Risk in the Capital Markets: Lessons from the 2008 Financial Crisis. Speaker, Dr. Steve Rubinow, former EVP and CIO of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext. Dr. Rubinow will share his lessons from the financial crisis on June 21 at The Harvard Club of Boston.
- How Decisions Are Made in Electronic Networks. Speaker: Dr. Nicholas Christakis, Yale’s Institute of Network Science. Nicholas will be speaking in October at the Harvard Club of Boston.
The Decision Analytics Forum
The 2019 Decision Analytics Forum marks the fourth year OnCorps has hosted the invitation-only executive series. The forum invites the world’s leading behavioral economists from research universities like Harvard and Yale to present their work. In addition, leaders from firms like Goldman Sachs, State Street, and The New York Stock Exchange have shared their experiences. The forum has hosted several hundred senior executives from firms such as: Bain Capital, Brown Brothers Harriman, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Samsung, Merck, State Street, Natixis, Bridgewater, JP Morgan, Microsoft, MassMutual, and Wellington Management. Each event strictly limits enrollment and has been over-subscribed.
